The IBM TS2900 Tape Library is designed for automated data backup. With its low profile 1U design and high storage capacity, the TS2900 is ideal for backup and archive operations. Available with half-height LTO-5, LTO-6, LTO 7, 8, or 9 drives, the TS2900 provides an affordable, high-capacity tape storage solution.

The TS2900 has a total storage capacity of up to 405 TB.

The TS2900 autoloader is an external standalone unit or a rack-mounted unit.
