The 3592 Enterprise Solutions are a range of tape drives and magnetic tape media developed by IBM. 3592-E05 was released in 2005 and is the successor of 3592-J1A.
The native capacity is 700 GB, which is more than twice the capacity of the first generation.
The speed is 100 MB/s.
The uncompressed speed doubles compared to the first generation.
The drive supports compression and WORM capability equal to the first generation.
